We are thrilled to announce that Greenway Associates has recently been awarded the contract for Cost Consultant services on the Barbican Renewal Programme. Appointed by the City of London, the programme seeks to breathe new life into one of London’s most important cultural buildings. Representing the most significant investment in the Barbican Centre since its opening in 1982, the Renewal Programme will preserve its Grade II-listed Brutalist architecture while renewing the complex for those who will shape its next chapter. The programme spans five years, with completion targeted for 2030.

Greenway Associates first came into contact with Ab Rogers almost two decades ago, when we worked together on the Tate Modern Public Concourses. We went on to work together on various other cultural projects and exhibitions in London, and it was always evident to us that Ab’s passion for user-led design would take him far.
