Our Services & Specialisms

Greenway Associates offer traditional Quantity Surveying services, but we come into our own when cost consultancy for challenging situations is required.

We also offer a full Project Management service, personally provided by our qualified and experienced Directors.

Our additional services & specialisims are listed here too.

  • Delivering traditional Quantity Surveying services is the heartbeat of our practice. As a RICS accredited company we undertake everything from cost planning to procurement, and contract strategy to post contract control.

  • We provide our clients with a true hands-on approach to project management at director level. We aim to fully understand our clients goals from the outset and take full ownership of the project, leaving no stone unturned. We’re comfortable and experienced at working in complex environments - either at stakeholders level or logistically restricted sites. We aim to develop client confidence at every stage, from feasibility and consultant appointments through to construction delivery and use.

  • We partner with or work alongside architects, clients and developers on early engagement of projects to provide professional advice on feasibility studies, masterplan budgeting, cost appraisal and procurement management. Our team can work directly with client and/or design teams to help define the business plan and set corresponding budgets at early stages and throughout the delivery of projects.

  • Procurement rules and practices differ in every country. Furthermore, business plans, client needs and complex design weigh upon procurement and contract strategy. We have vast experience in Europe, USA, Middle East, Africa, Polynesia and of course, the UK which helps us to advise each individual client on the best procurement route and contract.

  • We provide both benchmark analysis and detailed cost plans for FF&E (Furniture, Fittings & Equipment). We also help clients to differentiate between OS&E (Operating Supplies & Equipment), IT/ AV, Feature Lighting and pre-opening expenses. These are all items that regularly get forgotten and blow a project budget.

  • For clients with limited connection to the UK marketplace, we can act as their agent, bringing design teams and contractors to the table.

  • We have extensive experience in both the construction and exhibition sectors for carrying out the role of CA. The role of Contract Administrator is essential for the smooth operation of a project and all our team have excellent knowledge of administering construction contracts. At Greenway Associates we pride ourselves on delivering this role in an impartial, honest, and fair way ensuring that the success of the project is paramount.

  • Greenway Associates work closely with long established CDM-C experts who help us fulfil the role of Principal Designer which is an integral role on a construction project in ensuring health and safety risks are managed correctly.

  • We have an expert team who can form pricing documents and BoQ’s to any standard required (eg, SMM7, NRM or standard builders quants). We can often do this at great speed and at a competitive price.

  • We understand MEP and sustainable systems at a granular level. We have a dedicated team that looks at these elements on every job, which ensures the latest technologies and systems in this area are understood and accurately priced.

  • We have our own international inflation calculator specifically tailored to museum, heritage, cultural, exhibitions and visitor attraction projects. In the current inflationary environment, benchmarking alone is no panacea for accurate cost planning. Our bespoke exhibition inflation calculator enables us to create cost models tailored to the needs of each project. Many of our clients have found this to be very useful.

  • We have extensive experience in the ME region, having completed projects in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Syria, Oman, Egypt & Qatar.
